Codex's transcript opt-in is now a documented config key, subagents can finally prompt for MCP input, and opencode and Cline fixed the data-loss and freshness bugs operators have been hitting.
Move fullscreen transcript control to TUI configuration (#46849) openai/codex
Fullscreen transcript is now opted into with `tui.fullscreen_transcript` rather than the old `features.transcript_v2` flag, which is deprecated and ignored. It defaults to false, and `--no-alt-screen` and `tui.alternate_screen = "never"` still take precedence; boolean CLI overrides work during daemon startup.
Allow subagents to request MCP elicitation input openai/codex
MCP requests that need user input used to fail inside subagents, which were told to ask the parent agent instead, blocking browser sign-in, form input and interactive tool approval in child threads. The root-only elicitation guard and its `allow_user_interaction` plumbing are gone, so subagents now surface prompts and wait under the existing approval and automatic review rules.
fix(opencode): bump togetherai so streams report usage anomalyco/opencode
opencode recorded 0 tokens and $0 cost for every Together model because `@ai-sdk/togetherai@2.0.41` never sends `stream_options.include_usage`. Bumping the bundled package to `2.0.68` in `packages/opencode` and `packages/core` hardcodes `includeUsage: true`; setting the flag yourself does not work because `createTogetherAI` only reads `apiKey`, `baseURL`, `headers` and `fetch`.
fix(vscode): preserve drafts across retry cline/cline
Retry in the VS Code extension ran the same cleanup used by approval actions, deleting the only copy of text composed while a request was active, and footer actions cleared text, quote context, images and files separately. Drafts are now owned as one versioned value kept across error recovery actions.
fix(core): delete manifest-only history cline/cline
Deletion checked only the session index, so a session whose index row was missing stayed on disk and reappeared on the next history refresh; the input notes the IntelliJ report applies to VS Code too. Shared session persistence now removes manifest-only history.

fix(installer): write PATH to login shell files, idempotently aaif-goose/goose
The installer's PATH setup appended to `$HOME/.${SHELL_NAME}rc`, so bash login shells and `ssh host goose ...` never saw it, sh/dash/fish got files those shells do not read, and every re-run appended a duplicate line. The "Add it for me" path now writes idempotently to real login shell files.
