ANTHROPIC CLI SHIPS MANAGED AGENTS OVERHAUL, PLUGIN ECOSYSTEM TIGHTENS CURATION

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Anthropic

Anthropic CLI 1.14.0 lands delta streaming and agent overrides for Managed Agents, while the plugin repos enforce consistent external-PR gates across three surfaces.

The CLI jumped two minor versions overnight [1][2]. Version 1.14.0 adds event delta streaming, agent overrides, reverse pagination, vault credential injection scoping, and webhook events for agents and deployments [3]. Version 1.13.0 preceded it with global --workspace-id flag support and web fetch tooling for the 20260318 API date [2]. If you're building on Managed Agents, update immediately; both releases ship breaking API surface changes. On the plugin front, knowledge-work-plugins now gates external contributions [4], porting the same curation workflows from claude-plugins-official to close unsolicited PRs and redirect contributors to the submission form. The repo had accumulated 87 external contributions that weren't in scope; this closes that queue. Meanwhile, claude-plugins-community continues fixing plugin source paths [6][7][8], repointing 17 entries from repo roots to their actual plugin subdirectories so install resolves correctly. Buffa picked up smoothutf8 0.2.3 [5], shipping 38-64% ASCII decode gains on protobuf-sized fields and moving the simdutf8 crossover point from 64 B to 256 B on Graviton4. Four new plugins entered the official marketplace [9][10][11][12].
