COMMUNITY PLUGIN CLEANUP UNDERWAY AS MARKETPLACE TIGHTENS VALIDATION

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Anthropic

Anthropics is actively removing non-functional and undisclosed-data plugins from the community marketplace while onboarding validated additions across all plugin tiers.

Two critical removals shipped overnight in the community desk [1][2]. The aic plugin failed on every install due to unresolvable hook handlers that bound to paths outside the packaged plugin directory, making every lifecycle hook (SessionStart, UserPromptSubmit, PreToolUse) throw MODULE_NOT_FOUND [1]. Adapty was pulled pending resolution of an undisclosed data-collection issue after direct contact with maintainers [2]. Meanwhile, tres-finance-plugin and testdino have been cleared for the community marketplace [3][4]. On the official side, idmp-plugin shipped with corrected metadata (real description and author attribution) [5], and three plugins crossed automated validation gates: pixeltable, postman, and rill all have SHA bumps pending review [6][7][8]. The knowledge-work desk added grasp, a deal-workflow plugin backed by the Grasp MCP server for company research and market intelligence [9], plus validated bumps for carta-investors, wix, and langfuse [10][11][12]. Claude Code hit v2.1.198 with Chrome now generally available, background agent notifications via the new Notification hook, a /dataviz skill for design guidance, and AWS platform failover in the Gateway [13].
