Explicit string copying lands in buffa 0.10
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Anthropic · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
The day's one substantive change is a buffa string API that unblocks owned storage without giving up the borrowing conversion, alongside doc and template housekeeping across claude-code and the plugin repos.
feat: add explicit copying to ProtoString anthropics/buffa
buffa adds ProtoString::copy_from_str, implementing the explicit copying operation discussed in #441 for 0.10. The point is to keep the borrowing From<&str> conversion for every input lifetime while still giving the owned representation a way to store its own bytes, which the bound previously could not satisfy without changing conversion semantics or introducing overlapping implementations.
Delete claude-for-financial-advisors directory anthropics/financial-services
The claude-for-financial-advisors directory is gone from anthropics/financial-services. If you were pointing anything at that path, it no longer exists in the repo.
Fix plugin install command in per-plugin READMEs anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins
The per-plugin READMEs told readers to run `claude plugins add knowledge-work-plugins/<name>`, which is not a Claude Code command; they now document the same two-step install as the root README, adding the marketplace then `claude plugin install <name>@knowledge-work-plugins`. Anyone who followed the old instructions and got errors now has the correct command.
Add issue template for GitHub connection problems on claude.ai anthropics/claude-code
claude-code gains an issue form for GitHub connection problems on claude.ai, pre-labeled `github-integration` and asking for a screenshot, intent, observed behavior, and diagnostics.
Fix plugin install command in per-plugin READMEs anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins
Also quiet: the sandbox-runtime seccomp suite typecheck was repaired after it broke main, claude-code's CHANGELOG.md and feed.xml were regenerated, and the knowledge-work-plugins README fix was merged.
