KDE WIKI FIX TARGETS BLACK-SCREEN INSTALLS
By RepoJournal · Filed · About CachyOS
CachyOS's KDE setup guide just got a critical correction that could save you from a black screen after install.
The CachyOS wiki now explicitly includes xorg-server in KDE install instructions, fixing a gap that left users staring at a black screen without it [1]. Contributor jlw-spqr added the dependency note in the kde.mdx page, and the change is already merged [2]. Meanwhile, scx-scheds-git received a version and tag bump in the COPR builds, keeping the sched-ext schedulers current for those chasing the latest kernel tuning [3]. The statuspage churned through routine uptime checks, with the Russia Mirror confirming it's up at 200 in 849 ms [4]. Nothing else moved: the rest is automated status summaries and README refreshes. If you're on KDE, update your install notes now. The scheds bump is worth a look if you run the git variants.
