CachyOS Linux 7.2.2-1 lands, rebased on upstream 7.2.2 with a fix for inet frags and a new stable branch.

CachyOS Linux 7.2.2-1 [1] rebases the kernel from 7.2.1 to 7.2.2 and adds the linux-7.2.y branch. The release includes a fix for inet frags that strips GSO state before reassembly, plus VESA DSC BPF updates from the 7.2/vesa-dsc-bpp branch [1]. Meanwhile, the copr-linux-cachyos repo fixed image builds: the kernel-install guard now checks for /run/systemd/system so that bootc-image-builder, buildah, and container chroots no longer fail with grub2-probe errors [2]. This fix is now applied to all kernels [3]. In other updates, brave-bin moved to 1.94.117 [4], pixelflasher to 9.2.1.0 [5], and amneziawg-dkms to 3.1.20260827 [6]. rate-mirrors changed its mirrorlist API endpoint [7], and statuspage graphs refreshed with current uptime data [8]. The scx-scheds-git package got a version and tag bump [9].
