By RepoJournal · Filed · About Django · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
Two documentation-only changes landed in django/django: the BaseSpatialField.srid=-1 contract is now written down, and the Prefetch.to_attr example no longer shows the wrong output.
Fixed #37321 -- Documented BaseSpatialField.srid=-1 behavior. django/django
BaseSpatialField.srid=-1 now has documented behavior tied to ticket #37321, so the value commonly used to request a field's default SRID is no longer something you have to infer from source. Nothing in the API changed, but the documented contract is what reviewers and downstream code will now point at.
Corrected output of Prefetch.to_attr example. django/django
Jacob Walls corrected the output shown in the Prefetch.to_attr example, which had regressed in d6cca8b and was restored along the lines of ba7a420. The code in the docs is meant to be pasted, so anyone who copied the example was comparing against a result Django never produced.
