Funes batches scanner runs, HfFileSystem downloads Xet files directly

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Hugging Face · Composed from the cited sources · methodology

Funes stops reading agents' transcripts itself in favor of an installable integration contract, and huggingface_hub starts routing HfFileSystem downloads through hf_xet.

New integration contract for agent harnesses huggingface/funes

by dacorvo

funes no longer reads any agent's own transcripts and no longer knows any agent by name; each agent is now an integration, a directory at `~/.funes/agents/<id>/` that funes installs and runs to convert sessions into funes's turns format. The four it ships (claude, codex, hermes, pi) are just the first four: a fifth needs no change to funes and no approval from anyone.

perf(index): scan a batch of units in one scanner run huggingface/funes

by dacorvo

funes used to spawn trufflehog once per unit on `index` and `--check`, at roughly a second per spawn, which meant minutes before the first row was written on a directory of per-session turns files and half an hour for `--check` over a 735-file spool. It now reads units in batches of 32 units or 64 MiB of block text, whichever fills first, and redacts each batch in one scanner run before chunkin...

[HfFileSystem] Download Xet files with hf_xet in get_file huggingface/huggingface_hub

by hanouticelina

HfFileSystem.get_file now downloads Xet files with `xet_get`, the same code path as `hf_hub_download`, when the destination is a local path, so hf_xet writes to disk directly instead of going through Python. No extra HTTP call: the Xet hash comes from the `info()` that get_file already calls.

Support secrets on Job-triggered webhooks huggingface/huggingface_hub

by moon-bot-app

Jobs started by a webhook created from `job_id` run without the source Job's secrets, which the Hub never copies. The Hub now accepts `secrets` next to `jobSourceId`, exposed as `secrets=` on `create_webhook`/`update_webhook` and as `--secrets` / `--secrets-file` on `hf webhooks create|update`.

[lerobot] Include scalar and boolean columns in frames() (#2541) huggingface/huggingface.js

by Mishig

`frames()` only returned columns holding a numeric array per row, so a scalar column like `next.reward` or a boolean success flag was dropped, which blocked the LeRobot visualizer from building its episode charts with frames(). Scalars now come back as a single series and booleans as 0/1.

[lerobot]: fix - read camera sizes from video info, then shape names huggingface/huggingface.js

by cfahlgren1

Datasets that declare a camera `shape` channel-first, as `[3, 480, 640]` with `names: ["channels", "height", "width"]`, came back as 480x3 and collapsed the Hub's episode preview players to a thin line. `readCamera` now uses `info["video.height"]` / `info["video.width"]` when present and otherwise finds height and width in `shape` via `names`.

Feat/rebot b601 motor family huggingface/lerobot

by s1lent4gnt

RobStride (RS) support lands in the existing reBot B601 follower without a second robot registration: `motor_family` selects the actuator family on the shared implementation, with Damiao (DM) still the default. The PR supersedes an earlier one and keeps its hardware-tested RS mapping, tuning, MotorBridge integration and force-limited gripper strategy.
