DRA plugin socket paths shortened, k8s CI gains write-throughput and minimum-Go jobs
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Kubernetes · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
A quiet day across Kubernetes CI and DRA: one real behavior fix for kubelet plugin socket paths, plus new presubmit and periodic coverage for write throughput, informer-mode cluster listing, and minimum-Go module builds.
Merge pull request #142003 from ryo-whaletech/fix-dra-rolling-service-socket-path kubernetes/dynamic-resource-allocation
DRA kubeletplugin rolling service socket paths are now shortened, so deployments on long path prefixes stop tripping over the previous length. Published through dynamic-resource-allocation as Kubernetes-commit b6b23e8a069f17b2519bbb360ca6d7b7cf21ee0d.
Add optional write-throughput presubmit for kubernetes repo kubernetes/test-infra
The kubernetes repo gains an optional write-throughput presubmit, so the write path gets measured on demand in Prow rather than only in periodic jobs. Merged from serathius/write-throughput-presubmit-kubernetes.
Merge pull request #37901 from p0lyn0mial/sig-scalability-benchmark-list-json-informer kubernetes/test-infra
by kubernetes-prow[bot]
sig-scalability gets a new periodic benchmark, gce-benchmark-list-informer, that exercises cluster listing in informer mode. It adds a scalability signal for the informer-based path alongside the existing benchmark set.
Merge pull request #37808 from BenTheElder/min-go-job kubernetes/test-infra
by kubernetes-prow[bot]
A periodic job now builds the Kubernetes modules against the minimum supported Go version, so breakage from relying on newer toolchain behavior surfaces before release.
Merge pull request #37872 from tico88612/feat/disabled-enhancement-138-sync kubernetes/test-infra
by kubernetes-prow[bot]
Periodic enhancement sync is disabled for v1.38; the minimum-Go job, the scalability informer benchmark, and the write-throughput presubmit all landed through the same prow merge train.
