Parisc fixes land at rc5, Omarchy stops forgetting your wallpaper
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Linux · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
A quiet day: parisc gets four architecture fixes in the 7.3-rc5 window, while Omarchy closes a wallpaper-persistence bug and a run of VS Code theme rendering fixes.
Merge tag 'parisc-for-7.3-rc5' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/deller/parisc-linux torvalds/linux
Helge Deller's parisc pull for 7.3-rc5 raises the 64-bit kernel stack to 32kB to avoid crashes, parses early parameters in setup_arch() so huge page settings take effect, swaps an open-coded binary search for bsearch() in the unwind code, and drops the unused <asm/compat_ucontext.h> header. Only parisc machines are affected; nothing here touches other architectures.
Remember the selected wallpaper for each theme basecamp/omarchy
Switching themes and coming back used to reselect the first sorted image, discarding whatever you had picked via the background switcher, the cycling command, or `omarchy theme bg set`. The selected wallpaper is now recorded under `~/.local/state/omarchy/theme-backgrounds/` and restored to the same path on return, including user-added and external wallpapers.
Merge pull request #10134 from Macho0x/fix/vscode-theme-reload basecamp/omarchy
VS Code-family editors now reload the Omarchy theme when it changes, so an applied theme reaches the editor without a restart.
Merge pull request #9964 from ivanskodje/fix/vscode-theme-invisible-states basecamp/omarchy
Two VS Code theme fixes: invisible status bar labels and the current-line highlight are corrected, and hover and active states in the generated theme render again. Together with the reload fix, the generated theme file is now both correct and live.
Merge pull request #12864 from anandude/fix-catppuccin-colorscheme basecamp/omarchy
Smaller landings: the catppuccin theme now points at its flavour colorscheme rather than a generic one.
