Computer-use tools shipped to beta.agents in openai-node 7.25.0 and openai-python 3.22.0, while both SDKs tightened WebSocket session handling that could return the wrong response.

Adds computer_use tool variants, browser authentication and origin-access approval inputs, credential-free approval history, and desktop settings for hosted environments to beta.agents. The parallel Python work landed as 3.22.0, so typed support exists on both sides of the wire.
fix(responses): reserve lane IDs across WebSocket session replacements openai/openai-node
Closing and replacing a managed Responses session on an open WebSocket could let a delayed result from the previous session complete a new request with the wrong response; lane IDs now stay reserved for the physical socket's lifetime, which raises the effective lane limit since retired IDs count against it.
fix(api): retain WebSocket endpoint paths and query parameters openai/openai-python
WebSocket endpoint paths and query parameters survive a custom base URL again, including Responses, Realtime, and Live. Connection query parameters override the selected URL and the selected URL overrides client defaults, with repeated URL query values preserved.
Preserve live tool-call metadata across request windows openai/codex
Live direct-call observations are now retained separately from bounded persisted outputs and keyed by response item ID, so reused call IDs cannot mix results and tool result metadata stays available through compaction.
Remove randomized greetings from TUI session headers openai/codex
Startup greeting phrases and shared greeting state are gone from startup drafts, session headers, and the empty-state animation. Raw session headers now consistently carry model: and directory: fields.
