Typegen language registry lands; postgres images roll

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Supabase · Composed from the cited sources · methodology

Supabase's SDK added a language registry that turns new typegen targets into a PR plus a dependency bump instead of a CLI change, while the postgres image channel pushed a fresh set of versioned builds.

feat(typegen): add language registry package so new languages need no CLI change supabase/sdk

by spydon

Adds `@supabase/typegen` at `packages/typegen`, the registry mapping each `supabase gen types --lang` name to its generator. The four generators bundled in `postgrest-typegen` are in-process entries and Dart is the first out-of-process one, so once the CLI dispatches through the registry (SDK-1956) a new language needs only a PR here plus a CLI dependency bump, with no per-language CLI code.

fix(ui): restore grouped textarea top padding (#50843) supabase/supabase

by Danny White

`InputGroupTextarea` has carried a `py-0` override on the inner textarea since 31 March 2026, and when the group's own `py-2` was dropped later the same day the top spacing disappeared entirely. This restores the padding so grouped textareas stop rendering text against the top border, matching the standalone `Textarea`.

Improve Table Editor design and accessibility (#50797) supabase/supabase

by Gildas Garcia

The Columns section of the new table sheet had mismatched control styling, alignment and focus states, with icon-only actions that were faint or missing accessible names and tooltips. This aligns the headers and fields and gives those actions real labels.

Rename capacity monitor to resource monitor (#50849) supabase/supabase

by Steven Eubank

The capacity monitor is now the resource monitor in the docs, on the reasoning that "capacity" reads misleadingly next to things like AWS capacity and that reporting is not always about capacity, sometimes just consumption. Expect existing references to the old name to be the odd one out.

test(docs): drop the removed all agent from the AgentSetup test (#50802) supabase/supabase

by Katerina Skroumpelou

The `all` case was dropped from the `it.each` list in `AgentSetup.test.ts` after #50784 deleted the Generalist agent from `monitoring-agents.data.ts`; the leftover test failed with `Unknown monitoring agent id: all`, and since Docs Tests runs against the PR merged with `master`, every docs PR since that merge was red. Smaller items shipped alongside: `postgrest-typegen` 0.2.3 orders the view co...
