C# SDK goes official, virtiofsd gains ACL create fallback

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Supabase · Composed from the cited sources · methodology

Supabase's day is documentation and studio polish, with one real behavioral change in virtiofsd's POSIX ACL handling and Studio's DuckLake setup narrowed to the current project.

docs: move C# SDK from community to official support (#51487) supabase/supabase

by Guillaume Faas

The C# SDK reference drops its COMMUNITY badge and moves to official support, with links that pointed at "supabase community" repointed. If you were treating the C# client as third-party, its docs now live with the first-party SDKs.

feat(passthrough): add --posix-acl-create-fallback supabase/virtiofsd

by Kaitou786

virtiofsd adds --posix-acl-create-fallback for the case where --xattrmap renames system.posix_acl_access, as on NFSv4 hosts that lack POSIX ACL support. Guest ACLs are stored as opaque xattrs, so the guest kernel enforces them while the host filesystem does not, and host-denied creates that a guest ACL allows previously failed. The release notes describe the failure case directly: setfacl on a ...

passthrough: do not retry device node creates as the daemon supabase/virtiofsd

by Tarun Khandelwal

Device node creation no longer retries with the daemon's credentials. Since --posix-acl-create-fallback would otherwise lend the caller the daemon's CAP_MKNOD, character and block device creates now keep the old behavior: only guest root can create device nodes on the host.

feat(studio): limit DuckLake managed setup to the current project (#51380) supabase/supabase

by Coenen Benjamin

In Studio's Add pipeline flow, managed DuckLake setup is restricted to the current project: "Select Supabase projects" becomes "Use this Supabase project" and the Catalog project and Storage project selectors are gone. Metadata schema remains configurable.

fix(studio): polish extension installation dialogs supabase/supabase

by dnywh

The extension installation dialogs pick up clearer copy, hide custom-schema guidance when an extension requires a fixed schema, and share their disclosure interaction through ui-patterns. Narrow-screen layout fixes stop the footer buttons from touching and the content from scrolling sideways.
