Volar smooths strict JS diagnostics, router fixes native hash scroll
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Vue.js · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
language-tools cleans up two unmapped TS2454 false positives that hit strict, checkJs projects, and Vue Router fixes scroll restoration for same-page hash links in WebKit.
fix(language-core): declare component context vars before slot code vuejs/language-tools
Component context and props vars were emitted after slot code, so the JS form of the declaration (an assignment, not the TS `var x!: T`) was read before it ran; under strict with checkJs that surfaced as TS2454 at a position the editor could not map. The declarations now precede the slot code, and only the placement of those `var` lines changes in the TS output.
fix(language-core): avoid TS2454 from the withDotValue assertion vuejs/language-tools
The top-level `__VLS_withDotValue` assertion read every narrowed binding before the template, so a `let` or `var` without an initializer raised TS2454 in an unmapped position that a synthesized `// @ts-ignore` was covering. Such bindings are now passed as an assignment target, which is never checked for definite assignment, so the ignore is gone and template diagnostics are unchanged.
fix(scroll-restoration): restore position after native hash links vuejs/router
Capture now happens on click, before the browser scrolls to the hash, and the afterEach capture is skipped for entries the browser created; scrollRestoration is reset to manual on those entries because WebKit does not copy it. That addresses the native hash link case tracked upstream in Nuxt and WebKit, with same-page hash links covered by new tests.
fix(v-model): respect number modifier for Set select values vuejs/core
The number modifier on `v-model` now applies to select values bound to a `Set` instead of being dropped on the way through.
feat(kit): walk vapor component trees vuejs/devtools
Devtools' kit can walk Vapor component trees, groundwork for the inspector to traverse the Vapor renderer's component hierarchy. Quiet day elsewhere: test-utils took routine Renovate bumps, including rollup 4.64.9 to 4.64.10.
