Language-tools moves to trusted publishing, fixes hover and nav regressions
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Vue.js · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
vuejs/language-tools rebuilt its release pipeline around dispatched trusted publishing while landing three user-facing fixes, including a crash on malformed html.customData and restored tag navigation for barrel imports.
ci(release): dispatch releases that bump, tag and publish with trusted publishing vuejs/language-tools
Releases used to be a `vX.Y.Z` PR whose title auto-version.yml turned into a bump, then a push to master whose commit message the auto-tag job turned into a tag before `lerna publish from-package`. release.yml is now dispatched from the branch you intend to release, as in volar.js and tsslint: lerna-lite bumps every package, commits, tags and pushes, then `pnpm -r publish` publishes under trust...
fix(language-service): prevent crash on malformed html.customData configuration (#6127) vuejs/language-tools
A malformed html.customData configuration no longer crashes the language service; if you have hand-edited custom data paths in your editor settings, the extension now reports the problem instead of falling over on startup.
fix(language-core): restore tag navigation for barrel imports vuejs/language-tools
Tag navigation works again for barrel imports, so go-to-definition on a component resolved through a re-exporting index file lands on the tag rather than nothing. The regression had been open as issue #6252.
fix(typescript-plugin): show unwrapped type when hovering setup refs in template vuejs/language-tools
Hovering a setup ref inside a template now shows the unwrapped type rather than the `Ref<T>` wrapper, matching what the value actually is where you use it in the template.
test(vscode): remove obsolete grammar snapshots vuejs/language-tools
The vscode test suite dropped obsolete grammar snapshots, clearing stale fixtures from the check pipeline.
