Submodule configuration and Vercel deployment setup

Anurag Verma spent the day wiring up the codercops-site project for deployment, updating submodule references, configuring build scripts, and adding deployment platform integrations.

The work centered on codercops-site, a project using git submodules to pull in content from a separate repository. Verma updated .gitmodules [1] and merged the changes [2], then pushed multiple submodule pointer updates [3][4][20][21] to track the latest commits from codercops-content. He created a .vercelignore file [5][6][7] to control what Vercel would build, and updated package.json multiple times [8][9][10][14][15][16][17][18][19] to adjust build dependencies and scripts. A key piece was refining vercel-submodule-workaround.sh [11][12][13], a build-time helper to handle git submodule initialization on the Vercel platform. Later in the day, Verma added an Azure Static Web Apps workflow file [24] to support deployment to that platform as well, and integrated Google Analytics into the site [26][27]. He worked through several issues along the way, fixing directory paths [22], resolving permission problems , and debugging the build configuration [23][25].
