Initial Obsidian zettelkasten builder for Codex Desktop

Buğra Gündüz built out obsidian-zettelkasten-builder across five commits, creating a tool that integrates with Obsidian to run zettelkasten operations through Codex Desktop.

The repository started with the initial zettelkasten builder structure [1], which establishes the foundation for automating note-taking workflows in Obsidian. Buğra then added a fallback to user-local install paths [2], ensuring the tool can locate dependencies across different system configurations. Rather than rely on launchd for scheduling, he replaced the approach with persistent loops [3], giving the builder more direct control over its execution timing. The tool integrates with Codex Desktop CLI to run zettelkasten operations [4], and those loops execute in the background [5], allowing users to continue working without interruption while their notes are being processed.
