NEXT.JS PULLS LATEST REACT CANARY, EVE SHIPS TEMPLATE REDESIGN

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Vercel

Next.js v16.3.0-canary.90 landed overnight with fresh React internals, while the Eve site got a ground-up design refresh that adds per-template pages.

Next.js bumped React to the latest canary build [1], pulling in eight upstream PRs from the React team that shipped between July 14 and July 16. This is a canary release, so treat it as signal, not stability. The Eve team [2] shipped a complete site redesign with new per-template landing pages, a visual overhaul you'll see immediately if you visit the marketing site. Both moves are forward momentum on the product roadmap, nothing on fire, nothing blocking.
