BUILDBTW SHOW LANDS IN MAIN, FOUNDATION GETS LEANER

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Arch Linux

The buildbtw toolchain shipped its show command yesterday, cutting dead test code and landing a significant CLI overhaul that clears the way for the next phase.

The buildbtw project merged the show feature [1] after weeks of conditional compilation fixes [2], adding yansi for proper CLI coloring [3] and implementing the core show command [4]. This lands cleanly because the team already removed the unused bbtw tests module [5], keeping the codebase tight before the expansion. On the package side, LibreSSL bumped to 4.3.2-1 in extra [6], a solid maintenance release worth pulling in before you hit any SSL handshake edge cases. The rest of the overnight state updates are routine but worth noting: ParaView to 6.1.1-1 [7], Deepin Calendar to 6.5.37-1 [8], libheif to 1.22.2-1 in testing [9], and luajson to 1.3.5-1 [10] all moved through their respective repositories without incident.
