EXTRA REPO ROLLS FIVE UPDATES OVERNIGHT

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Arch Linux

Strawberry music player, GNOME desktop extensions, and Google API tooling all landed in extra-x86_64 and extra-any within hours of each other.

Strawberry jumped to 1.2.24-1 [1], bringing fixes and refinements to the music player pipeline. GNOME Shell's desktop-icons-ng extension climbed to 51.0.3-1 [2], addressing extension compatibility issues that were blocking some users on recent GNOME releases. Mission-center got a rebuild to 1.1.0-2 [3] to align with system library changes. ProtonVPN's GTK app moved to 4.16.5-2 [4] with dependency updates, and python-google-api-core upgraded to 2.32.0-1 [5] for anyone building against Google Cloud APIs. All five landed cleanly without dependency conflicts.
