QALCULATE SUITE JUMPS TO 5.12.0 ACROSS CALCULATORS AND CORE LIBRARY
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Arch Linux
The entire qalculate stack shipped overnight, unified at version 5.12.0 across the Qt and GTK frontends and the underlying libqalculate engine.
Arch pushed qalculate-qt [1], qalculate-gtk [2], and libqalculate [3] all to 5.12.0-1 in extra-x86_64, a coordinated update that ensures the calculator frontends work with the same core library version. Hieroglyphic also graduated from testing to stable [5] after a rebuild to 2.3.0-3 [4], clearing the testing queue for that package. On the development side, archinstall bumped mypy to v2.3.0 in both the pre-commit configuration [6] and the direct dependency [7], keeping the type checker in sync across tooling. The big news from aurweb is version 6.4.1 [9] rolling to release, following a security-focused dependency bump [8] that closed known vulnerabilities in the AUR infrastructure.
