Nomad Autoscaler now ships with native Instana APM integration while the Podman driver gains fine-grained image platform selection.

Nomad Autoscaler landed a built-in Instana APM plugin [1] that lets scaling policies tap infrastructure metrics like CPU, memory, JVM heap, and application-level signals without custom configuration. This closes a gap for teams already invested in Instana observability. On the driver front, the Nomad Podman driver now supports os, arch, and variant task config options [2] to pull specific platform variants of container images, matching podman's native flags and solving the problem of hosts always pulling their default platform. The Terraform Azure provider continues its 4.0 roadmap work [3][4] with support for storage IOPS on managed instances and test cleanup, while new resource implementations land for Storage Sync Server endpoints [5]. Nightly builds are live across Nomad Autoscaler [6], Nomad Pack [7], and Nomad Podman driver [8] for early testing.
