BOUNDARY BUMPED TO 1.6.1 AS DEPENDABOT SWEEPS CI/CD
By RepoJournal · Filed · About HashiCorp
Terraform Provider Boundary ships version 1.6.1 with project alias and RDP recording updates while dependabot rolls out actions/checkout 7.0.1 across the stack.
The Boundary provider climbed to 1.6.1 [1] with changelog updates for both Project Alias Suffix and RDP session recording releases that had drifted from actual version numbers. Across four HashiCorp repos, dependabot is systematically patching the actions group to v7.0.1, which now "skip running unsafe pr check if input is default" [2] in the checkout action, hardening CI/CD pipelines against potential misconfigurations. On the metrics side, go-metrics pulled in Prometheus client_golang 1.24.1 [3], a small bugfix release for promhttp that tightens observability instrumentation. The updates are routine maintenance across the board: no breaking changes, no security alerts, all green for merging.
