BOUNDARY WORKER HELM CHART BUMPED TO 1.0.1-ENT, CONSUL K8S GAINS EXT-PROC TESTING

By RepoJournal · Filed · About HashiCorp

Boundary's Helm chart defaults to the latest enterprise image while Consul Kubernetes hardens its service mesh proxy layer with new acceptance tests.

Boundary Worker Helm v0.1.1 shipped with the default image bumped to hashicorp/boundary-enterprise:1.0.1-ent, up from 1.0.0-ent [1]. The chart version syncs to match and requires no manual value overrides unless you're pinning a specific worker version [2]. Over in Consul Kubernetes, a new PR adds comprehensive Ext-proc acceptance test coverage [3], extending the test suite as the project readies RouteExtProc CRD support and multiport configuration testing [4]. On the security front, Consul's main repo patched a brace-expansion vulnerability through dependency updates [5], addressing an npm supply-chain risk before it compounds. All three repos show coordinated maintenance: the Helm chart cleanup removed hardcoded version strings from docs [6], tightening configuration practices across the stack.
