Boolean pool config no longer crashes boot, except_on error matching fixed
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Rails · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
Rails landed two correctness fixes: false now disables idle_timeout, reaping_frequency and max_age in database.yml, and errors.added? finally matches validations written with except_on.
Treat `false` as disabled for `idle_timeout`, `reaping_frequency` and `max_age` rails/rails
HashConfig called to_f/to_i on these pool settings, so a YAML boolean raised NoMethodError on boot: idle_timeout: off becomes false under YAML's off/no handling. false now disables them like the documented 0, and true falls back to the default, matching the behavior commit 3c750994d6 already gave keepalive.
Fix error matching for validations using except_on rails/rails
errors.added? returned false even when the requested error was present on a validation declared with except_on:, and errors.details leaked the except_on callback option into its output. If you assert on error objects in specs, those assertions were silently lying and warnings were being generated from an option that should not appear there.

build(deps): bump the github-actions group with 2 updates rails/tailwindcss-rails
Dependabot bumped the github-actions group in tailwindcss-rails, taking zizmorcore/zizmor-action from 0.6.3 to 0.6.4 and updating ruby/setup-ruby. CI plumbing only, nothing for your app.
