Phoenix trims the input and flash components

By RepoJournal · Filed · About Elixir & Phoenix · Composed from the cited sources · methodology

1 person shipped this

José Valim landed a small cleanup in Phoenix's function components, giving `checked` a configurable value and making `prompt` a valid option, a change that matters only to apps rendering those components directly.

Slightly simplify input and flash components phoenixframework/phoenix

by josevalim

Valim's change lets the checkbox now take its checked state from a customized value rather than the fixed default, and adds prompt to the options the component accepts, so call sites that were working around either limitation can lean on the component itself.

Slightly simplify input and flash components (#6858) phoenixframework/phoenix

by José Valim

The same work reached main as a single commit, "Slightly simplify input and flash components." Nothing here is a breaking API change; if your forms and flash messages render fine today, behavior is unchanged.
