Rails docs sweep fixes a purge/destroy mixup before it misleads
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Rails · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
Five documentation-only commits land in rails/rails, and the one that matters corrects a config key that told readers the wrong job class.
[ci skip] Fix wrong job name in config.active_record.queues.destroy docs rails/rails
The docs for config.active_record.queues.destroy said "purge jobs" are sent to the default queue when the option is nil; that option actually configures the queue for destroy jobs (ActiveRecord::DestroyAssociationAsyncJob). Anyone who set that key by reading the old wording was configuring the wrong queue. The commit message calls it a simple fix: purge -> destroy.
Merge pull request #58971 from hachi8833/fix_configuring_guide rails/rails
The same purge-to-destroy correction lands via a second merge, so the fix to config.active_record.queues.destroy is now in the merged tree rather than sitting in a single contributor's branch.
Merge pull request #58969 from hachi8833/fix_rails_on_rack_guide rails/rails
The Rails on Rack guide carried the wrong config name for CheckPending; it now matches the real setting.
[ci skip] Fix incorrect route in Generators guide rails/rails
The Generators guide used person as its route where the example calls for people, and now reads people.
Merge pull request #58968 from hachi8833/fix_typo_caching_with_rails rails/rails
A typo in caching_with_rails.md is also fixed. All five commits are documentation-only and tagged [ci skip], so nothing here changes runtime behavior.
