Query constraints move into SchemaContext as Rails trims Ractor subscriptions
By RepoJournal · Filed · About Rails · Composed from the cited sources · methodology
Active Record now resolves model query constraints at schema load and stores them in SchemaContext, while the Ractor subscription snapshot becomes an immutable registry.
Store query constraints in `SchemaContext` rails/rails
Query constraint lists are now computed once when Active Record loads a model's schema and stored in SchemaContext, with model accessors delegating to that context. The explicit constraint definition stays on the model itself, because it has to exist before schema load.
Make the Ractor snapshot of the subscriptions an immutable registry rails/rails
The Ractor snapshot of subscriptions changes from a Hash built at first read into an immutable registry. Kamipo notes the PR deliberately leaves propagation alone, since a later change settled that non-main Ractors subscribe onto their own Ractor-local notifier and re-adopting the main Ractor's subscriptions would clobber that.
[ci skip] Fix env var check in Active Job halting callbacks example rails/rails
The Active Job halting callback example shipped a check that could never be false: ENV.fetch("DISABLE_GUESTS_CLEANUP_JOB", true) defaults to true and any environment value, including "false", is a non-empty string, so the job was never enqueued. It now compares against "true" explicitly, so the job halts only when the variable is set to "true".
- miniswen: handle malformed JSON in tool responses rails/lemans
Palkan reports that miniswen now handles malformed JSON in tool responses, a case he says Kimi produces "sometimes." Tool-call parsing no longer falls over on a bad payload.
- daytona: handle 409 on network policy switch rails/lemans
Also in lemans, daytona now handles a 409 when switching network policy. The remaining doc work, including the removal of a broken link to the nonexistent Transactions section in the Active Record Basics guide, is cleanup.
